Emma Isakson represents clients in a variety of criminal and licensing proceedings. She has represented individuals in cases involving allegations of white collar crimes, from the investigation stage through formal proceedings, as well as domestic violence, sexual misconduct, assault, theft of means of transportation, DUI and vehicular crimes, and drug offenses. Emma has represented professionals accused of unprofessional conduct before their licensing agencies including the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners and the Arizona State Board of Nursing. She has also represented students in disciplinary proceedings at Arizona public universities, including litigating violations of a school’s code of conduct and Title IX violations.

Emma has considerable trial court and appellate experience, including appeals of administrative decisions, lower court appeals to the Maricopa County Superior Court, and has argued in front of the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.

Emma is a 2014 cum laude graduate and Pedrick Scholar from the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University.  Following her law school graduation, Emma served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Peter B. Swann at the Arizona Court of Appeals, Division I.

While in law school, Emma worked with the Arizona Justice Project to identify, investigate and analyze inmates’ claims of innocence in an effort to exonerate wrongfully convicted individuals. She also assisted clients at Community Legal Services with housing and public benefits issues. In addition, she was an extern at the Arizona Center for Law in the Public Interest.
