Lisa Bivens defends individuals and entities through all stages of state and federal proceedings. Lisa’s clients have included high-ranking government officials, government agencies, licensed professionals and their practices, businesses and non-profit organizations, as well as individuals simply trying to navigate the justice system. Lisa’s priority is to vigorously advance the client’s interests and goals while supporting the client through the sometimes complex and often intimidating legal process.
With a Master’s degree in writing and an array of advocacy awards under her belt, Lisa is particularly skilled at helping clients tell their side of the story. Lisa works diligently with clients to uncover and understand the unique facts and circumstances involved in each case, so that she can provide a meaningful and effective defense every time. Lisa appreciates that no one enjoys defending themselves against legal claims, and she is committed to helping clients efficiently address and resolve the issues they are facing so they can get back to business and on with their lives.
Lisa graduated from the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University, where she was President of the Moot Court Board and was selected by her peers to be the Graduation Student Speaker. Prior to law school, Lisa taught English and earned her Master’s degree in Creative Writing from Northern Arizona University, where she also received her Bachelor’s degree in Sociology and served as the student newspaper’s Editor-in-Chief.
