Karsten Mickelsen

Karsten is the newest addition to the MSCC team and the welcoming presence clients encounter upon entering the office, as well as the helpful voice on the firm’s main line.

She joins the firm from outside the legal field and is a proud alumna of Arizona State University’s Barrett, The Honors College, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Marketing with a minor in Psychology.

Karsten began her professional career in advertising, applying her background in consumer behavior to support a range of well-known brands and businesses across Phoenix and nationally.

She later spent time in Los Angeles, where she earned a Professional Designation Certificate in Product Development from the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising and worked within the sustainability department of an international fashion company.

With a strong interest in corporate social responsibility and ethical manufacturing, Karsten is excited to begin her career in the legal field and learn from the talented team at MSCC.

Outside of work, Karsten is a skilled craftswoman with over a decade of experience in tailoring and garment design, a near six-handicap golfer, and the devoted owner of a four-year-old Weimaraner named Berlin.
