Sara Dimmel is a paralegal with the firm who has more than 20 years of experience in litigation, public finance and corporate law. At Mitchell Stein Carey Chapman, Sara collaborates closely with our attorneys and clients analyzing and developing strategies in all phases of the case from initial intake through discovery, trial and appeal. She is involved with investigations, preparing expert witnesses, legal research, drafting pleadings and discovery responses, designing trial exhibits, and participating in jury selection and trial. She also works closely with and coordinates with outside eDiscovery service providers, manages the collection, processing, review, and production of both electronically stored information (ESI) and tangible information.

Sara has a diverse array of experience in securities law, commercial litigation, and corporate matters. Prior to joining the firm, she worked as a capital markets paralegal for a Fortune 500 company, assisting to fund the company’s growth through the debt capital markets and asset-backed securities. Prior to that, she was a litigation paralegal for an Am Law 100 firm where she assisted attorneys with depositions, hearings, trials, and arbitrations in complex commercial disputes, governmental and regulatory actions, and class actions.

Sara graduated from Arizona State University with a bachelor’s degree in Political Science, earned an associate’s degree in Paralegal Studies from Phoenix College and is a Certified Paralegal.
